Know the Difference
Every coffee machine needs both cleaning and descaling, but they serve different purposes. Descaling removes limescale and mineral buildup from internal components such as the thermoblock, pipes, pump, and boiler, helping maintain water flow, brewing temperature, and machine performance. Cleaning capsules, on the other hand, remove coffee oils, residue, and unwanted odours from the brewing system. Regular cleaning and descaling are essential for optimal machine performance and consistently great-tasting coffee.
