FAQ
How do I prepare the Pedrini Moka Pot before first use?
- Wash all components with warm water—no soap or detergent.
 - Brew and discard the first 2–3 pots of coffee to season the interior.
 - Never use the handle to tighten or open the pot; it can break under pressure.

How do I use the Pedrini Moka Pot?
- Fill the bottom chamber with water, just below the safety valve.
 - Place ground coffee (medium grind) into the filter funnel—don’t press it down.
 - Screw the top and bottom together firmly.
 - Heat on low to medium flame. Keep flame within base diameter (not up the sides).
 - Once the coffee flows into the top chamber, remove from heat and serve.

How do I clean the Pedrini Moka Pot?
- Hand wash with warm water only—no soap or dishwasher use.
 - Dry all parts completely before reassembling to prevent oxidation.
 - Avoid steel wool and harsh scrubbers.

What are the tips for best coffee?
- Use coffee specifically ground for moka pots—medium grind, not espresso fine.
 - Use filtered water to enhance flavor and reduce mineral build-up.
 - Never use contents other than coffee (e.g., tea, cocoa, instant mixes).
 - Regularly check the gasket and filter plate for wear and replace if needed.
 - Control the heat—too high and the coffee may taste burnt.
